10 commandments of being a recruiter #1... Location, Location, Location

In the traditional sense it would be about bricks and mortar. The location of the gig, the venue, your house.

In recruitment though it is all about positioning of the role.

Positioning is everything.  A young new salesman might not delve too deeply into the culture, the real requirement of the role and focus on the money – so make it easy for them to understand.  The VP of finance will want to talk about broad responsibility, the contribution he will make to the bottom line.  It’s the how, the where and the why.  There is no one size fits all.  But if you are going to be a successful recruiter you need to hang out in the right places...to advertise, to network, to engage….

Where are your right places?
