10 commandments of being a recruiter #8... Never Fail,,,
And to be clear I don’t mean failure to fill a role, that’s not failure even if it feels like it that is a decision making process that an individual and an employer went through with the result that they couldn’t get to an agreement that worked for them both.
No. I am going a bit deeper than that.
Never fail to do the right thing. Stick to your guns, take the long route to engaged and successful candidates rather than the quick buck route of bums on seats.
Never fail to walk in their shoes, candidate and hiring manager alike, to feel what they feel, to experience what they experience and to question it.
Never fail to look after yourself, your health, physical and mental and to learn new skills that make you a better recruiter, the best recruiter you can be.
