10 commandments of being a recruiter #3... It’s not where you are from but where you are going

KnowWhereYouAreGoing Recruiters like sportsman, other professions and people in general go through a cycle of success.  Sometimes we hit a period where for whatever reason it doesn’t work out.  We stop making placements and we lose our way for a while.  Forget it.  Forget what doesn’t work and instead focus on what it looked like or felt like when you had success.  Sure you should shake it up a little, try a new approach with candidates, or go hunting in a different pool, even stand up all day to give you that motion creates emotion feel, but focus on what good looks like.

A trite comment, I'm sure but we cannot undo the past but we can change our future.
