Closely linked to commandment #5 you need to get yourself heard.  Get your voice out there.

Too many companies try and scrimp on this.  They go for the cheap option, the ineffective option.

You are creative; you know where the people you want are, go out and get them.  Use the giant lorry with a picture of a sales director on the side, send the ice cream vans round to your competitors and print that personal post card you were told would be a waste of time.

Candidates hear about job opportunities every day, make sure that they hear about yours first and feel compelled to contact you.
